The MRX II and MRX Revelation Temperature Control are sophisticated microplate photometers that are ideally suited to endpoint, kinetic and tissue culture agglutination assays.  The MRX Revelation builds on the features and performance of the stand-alone MRX II by including a built-in computer complete with Windows ® and Revelation software.

The MRX II is a sophisticated stand-alone microplate photometer with a wide spectral range, including both visible and UV wavelengths and excellent linearity, accuracy and precision.

Excellent data handling for kinetic assays

For kinetic assay analysis, the MRX II can calculate rates of reaction, determine Michaelis-Menten Km and Vmax values and easily export individual kinetic records in ASCII format to Excel ®, using the on-bard 3.5" diskette drive.  The MRX II can save 100 assays, 20 standard curves, and up to 100 microplate data files and export results to diskette.  You can also upgrade the MRX II by interfacing it with a computer and use Revelation software to control the instrument and data processing.

Ideal research tool

The MRX Revelation is an ideal research tool, combining the flexibility of Revelation Software with excellent optical performance in a compact, integrated package.  Revelation Software has an intuitive graphical user interface with familiar Windows-based commands, which both enhances and simplifies data reduction and data recalculation.  Once an assay is defined, it can be assigned to a "Quick Button" for immediate access.  The MRX Revelation comes with an external CD-ROM drive, making it easy for you to install additional software, new printer drivers or a spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel; and you can add an optional LAN card to download results.

Performance verification through the MRX Verification Plate

The on-board self-diagnostic routines assure proper instrument operation.  In addition, performance can be checked with a calibrated and certified verification plate.  This tests for plate alignment, linearity, filter installation, optical channel matching to ensure consistent results across all reading channels and photometric accuracy.

Includes on-board software.  Researcher needs keyboard, mouse and monitor to complete system.  Revelation model comes with temperature control.
