The direct illumination
optics of the Fluoroskan Ascent produces a highly focused light beam. In
fluorescence measurement, this prevents crosstalk and ensures accurate
readings. Two beam diameter settings, 3 mm and 1.5 mm, allow optimal
readings of
96 well plates. Automatic gain selection eliminates the need for
manual adjustment in fluorometry. It also guarantees the best possible
sensitivity and dynamic range for all wavelengths.
On-board incubation and
orbital shaking (various models)
An incubator is
onboard for cell biology, enzyme assays and other applications requiring
precise temperature control.
Built-in orbital shaking up to 99 hours, 99
minutes and 99 seconds,
another advanced feature, speeds up reaction times and ensures effective
mixing. Both the speed and amplitude of shaking can be adjusted. Frequency
from 1 - 50 mm diameter.
Instruments come with 2 filter pairs of
choice, line cord and three year warranty from
Factory Trained Engineers. PC software
separately.
Additional filter pairs can be purchased. MTX Lab Systems, Inc. has
sold and serviced these instruments since 1990's!
