The Fluorescence filters are arranged in filter wheels; four excitation filters and four emission filters respectively as noted below in a 6 place filter wheel. Handles 6, 48, 96, and 384 well plates. Wavelength range of 360-750nm for fluorescence readings, absorbance wavelength range of 340-750nm with your choice of filters and can cover the full spectral range. PC software KC, includes various methods of data capture, including kinetic readings and end point. Standard reads and data can be downloaded into Excel for further curve fits and specified data to meet assay requirements. Sensitivities can be two and to three times more sensitive than specified by use of PC software. Different detection techniques with one instrument change of measurement directions (top / bottom) by PC software.  Thermal incubation at  +5º C to + 42º C, with 3 settings for shake-High 25Hz, Medium-17Hz and Low 12.5Hz. 
Dual optical channels allow measurements from above or below the plate by mouse-click. Light to and from the samples is focused by a lens and high quality excitation and emission filters are easily accessible and can be reconfigured to meet dozens of application requirements.  Each filter wheel holds up to six filters with eight filters installed for fluorescence readings to total twelve filter positions.  Six filters for absorbance can be accommodated.  Suggested use with black bottomed plates for bottom-to-top readings. Optimal use with black plates to prevent cross-contamination.
